The MiMTSS TA Center is excited to announce that registration is now open for our 2024 Social Emotional Behavioral (SEB) Summer Symposium.

When: June 17, 2024 (Early Childhood Focus) and June 18, 2024 (K-12 Focus)

8:00 am - 9:00 am Check In 

9:00 am - 4:00 pm Learning Sessions, including lunch

The Social, Emotional, Behavior, Mental Health Symposium provides participants with greater knowledge and tools to improve their system of support and practices to meet the needs of ALL learners within Early Childhood and K-12 environments.

Symposium Objectives

  • Gain an understanding of the latest research, promising practices, and critical issues related to social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health supports to connect with their existing practices.
  • Learn about developing systems to support effective implementation.
  • Expand learning of contextual implementation of practices.
  • Acquire new knowledge and skills applicable to their specific role/position.

  • Coffee/Tea and Lunch provided.
  • Temporary self-parking is available on a space available, first come, first served basis in the city-owned ramp conveniently connected to the Radisson Hotel Lansing at the Capitol via a climate controlled pedway. The current parking rate is $1.50 for each 1⁄2 hour, maximum of $15.00 per day.
  • SCECHs and MiRegistry credits will be available, at no cost, pending approval. Social Worker CEUs will not be available.
  • Registration is through Macomb ISD’s registration system (as the fiscal agent for the MiMTSS TA Center). You will be required to set up a login within their system to register for this event. Event communications and reminders will say MISD, although it is an event hosted and facilitated by the MiMTSS TA Center.

    • The DoubleTree by Hilton Lansing offers all overnight guests valet parking for a nominal fee of $28.00 per night, per vehicle.
