District Support Model Outcomes
In the 2011-2012 school year, MIBLSI began working with intermediate school districts (ISDs) and local districts to implement district-wide MTSS. The district model enables us to expand our reach and impact a greater number of schools. The District Support Model Reports detail the number of districts and schools implementing MTSS through MIBLSI, describe the support model in place for districts, show data on the implementation progress of districts and schools, and discuss our emerging work.
School Support Model Outcomes
From 2004 to 2013, 521 elementary and middle schools completed a three-year training series with MIBLSI. The School Model Report provides summative information for the first seven cohorts on school-wide MTSS implementation and student outcomes. The report also explains how these results informed our current model where MIBLSI partners with ISDs and districts.
MIBLSI conducted a Consumer Feedback Survey for MIBLSI partners from the 2012-2013 school year. Respondents include partners from both the school support model and the district support model. The report summarizes the responses about the benefits of the program and areas to be addressed. We use feedback from our partners to help us improve on our goal of providing an exceptional support and service delivery model in a sustainable manner for implementing MTSS.
