This training is specifically designed to address the need for systematic and explicit instruction in phonological decoding and comprehension practice with high-interest children’s literature. The program has been chosen as the curriculum for America Reads, a U.S. Department of Education reading initiative. It’s an effective curriculum for prekindergarten and kindergarten students and a logical next step for students who are performing below DIBELS benchmarks in kindergarten or first grade.

(or upon meeting session capacity, whichever occurs first. Those who register after the session(s) has filled will be put on a first come, first served wait list. If the session does not fill, new registrations will not be accepted after the registration deadline.)
