FOCUS DAY: Behavior Interventions for Classrooms

Are you experiencing high-frequency, low-intensity behavior in your classroom or school? Ready for a change? At the end of this session, participants will be equipped with skills and a structure to intentionally select and implement classroom strategies to support behavioral success of students.

Participants will receive a copy of the "Tough Kid Book" and a copy of the "Tough Kid Toolbox" at the end of this session. Participants must be present for the full session to receive the materials. Only participants that are registered will receive the materials and resource. 


Learner Outcomes:

  • Identify the essential beliefs needed for problem solving specific to behavior
  • Apply the Prevent, Teach, Respond structure for planning classroom interventions
  • Identify and practice prevention strategies for the classroom
  • Review and revise teaching strategies for behavior in the classroom
  • Identify and practice response strategies for the classroom
